Built around your queue
Ads fit into the gaps between calls. Nobody misses their turn because an ad was playing, and the tokens being served stay visible along the bottom of the screen the whole time.
An ad starts only when the next call isn't expected before it ends — worked out from who is waiting and how fast your counters are moving.
The ad's sound fades out, then the chime and announcement play and the called token takes the screen. Customers never miss their turn.
Once the announcement is done the ad picks up exactly where it stopped, so your whole message gets seen.

No. Token calls always come first. The ad's sound fades out and the ad pauses before the chime, the announcement plays over the queue, and the ad resumes from the same spot afterwards. Ads also start only when the next call isn't expected before they end.
